Plenty of jobs were done at the work party. Pegs 10, 11 and 12 were stripped back and repaired.

The three manhole covers in front of the toilet block have been re-cemented and the toilet block itself given a coat of paint.

Brambles and overhanging plants encroaching on the lake were removed between pegs 1 and 11 and some general tidying up around the lake including rubbish burning. The unsightly corrugated iron by the dam was removed and extra scaffold poles put in their place for safety.
A bench, kindly donated by Connie in memory of his wife, Christine, has been placed behind peg 27.

Anti-slip strips have been fixed to peg 31.

Last but not least Harold has finally been given some clothes to cover his modesty.

Considering the current Covid situation, it appears highly unlikely that we will be able to have an AGM and therefore a formal vote on the Committee until much later this year, if at all. The Committee feels this is unacceptable and have decided to hold a postal vote for those Positions being contested.
The Committee invites members who wish to stand for a position to apply in writing to the Secretary at secretary@dellangling.co.uk; applications must be proposed and seconded also by email from existing members. Applications must be received by the 28th of Feb 2021; applications received to date will be included. The vote will be held in April and will be overseen by a member who is independent of the current committee.
