CV19 Update Membership Renewals

Comments Off on CV19 Update Membership Renewals

Due to the unprecedented COV-19 situation, membership renewals will not take place until we have clear direction from the UK government. The committee will notify existing members of a date that renewals will take place once restrictions are lifted. The committee will also offer payment options for those who cannot attend a renewals event.

CV19 Update

In light of the latest government advice, we have taken the decision to cease all Society activities (meetings, competitions and work parties) until the end of April or until we get the all clear. We are also closing the lake as of this morning.

We will keep you posted as we receive further advice and as we make decisions regarding membership renewal etc.

Please take care of yourselves and your families during this difficult time.

Coronavirus Update

Given the current government advice we will not hold a meeting in April and will be postponing the AGM until May, although we may have to move it further if the situation persists. Outdoor activities including competitions and work parties will take place as these are considered to be lower risk. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our activities as appropriate.

Note that the lake remains open but we do urge members to follow the advice given by the government; especially those members who are in the high risk groups.
